Why hello there
So, me. I've been working in recruitment for over a decade now. Phew, what a ride it's been. In that time, I've learnt a hell of a lot. I mean, In the modern AI age it's impossible to stand still, blink and you'll miss it!
Although I'm far from the finished article (who is?), I'm pretty darn good at matchmaking and creating lasting impact for clients and candidates. Seeing a candidate flourish in a new role or sitting down to lunch with a client singing the praises of a past hire and the impact they've had - priceless.
Most kids grow up dreaming of being a famous singer, doctor, football player etc etc... Not me. Ever since I can remember, all I ever wanted was to be a recruiter (IYKYK). And here I am, co-founder of Plan:it, a tech recruitment agency. Living the dream, some would say.
What is life without the people that inhabit this lovely Plan:it! (see what I did there?). In every aspect of my life, people and community are everything. I'm blessed with the opportunity to make a lasting impact on people's lives by enriching their careers and match-making ambitious business owners with talented individuals. Could be worse, ey?
There are many, many reasons I'm still in recruitment after all these years. Heck, I even escaped agency to join an internal team for a year. But like a lost dog, I found my way back to work with my two old pals, Elliott and Will, at Plan:it. That speaks volumes.
I love the tech space, I love the innovation. I love seeing the impact that making the right hire can make, from both sides of the coin. Spending my days speaking with passionate techies that want to make
